Well-Being and Skill Acquisition

At KAD we give our karters monthly tasks to master, which focus on a variety of different physical and mental skills, hand-eye coordination, dexterity, balance, discipline, patience, and perseverance.

When our athlete completes each task, it is ticked off in their personal membership area allowing them to progress onto the next tier. 

Well-being and skill acquisition tasks include:

  • Learning how to juggle.
  • Setting screen time limits on smart phones and tablets.
  • Helping to prepare a healthy meal with a parent.
  • Learning to skip.
  • Packing their own race kit the night before travel.
