Training: Online & In-Person Coaching

At KAD we offer a world class coaching service, delivered either online or in person. Our online coaching service allows us to work with individuals from all over the UK and around the World! We are currently working with athletes from the UK, Europe, Malaysia, UAE, and the USA to name just a few.

We also have a network of highly qualified and DBS checked coaches from all over the UK who can deliver in-person coaching to our athletes. Please get in touch to find out which coaches are in your area.

We can provide race support to individuals or teams worldwide and we have a background of nearly ten years supporting some of the best racing drivers on the planet.

By your side, in-person or online

Online Coaching

At KAD we offer both 45 min and 60 min online coaching sessions that can be booked through our training only plans.  Generally, we suggest athletes under the age of 13 begin with 45 min sessions and those 13 or over begin with 60 min sessions.

Online coaching is available in blocks of ten sessions and can be used as required. Current clients use this option to increase the number of sessions they perform before a specific event, for rehab after a collision or injury, or as an intensive block of training to help improve any limitations identified by driver coaches, parents, or team staff.

Race Support

Race support gives an athlete the necessary structure, mentoring and education to perform at the highest level over the course of a race weekend. Our aim is to educate each athlete so they can make informed decisions to optimise their own performance.

This could include:

  • Pre heat/race warm-ups – specific driver warm-ups aimed at activating musculature, mobilising joints and optimising co-ordination and vision in a fun and engaging way.
  • Individual driver nutrition strategies – to improve mental and physical energy both at the track or whilst travelling.
  • Individual driver hydration strategies – it is well documented in research that dehydration can impair cognitive performance making staying hydrated over a race week an imperative.
  • Recovery protocols – these can include individual sleep and nap protocols to improve mental and physical energy, cooling vests, or ambient temperature recovery pools to help with the body’s ability to cope with the heat, or just some quiet time to clear your head and refocus.
  • Help with logistics such as travel, time keeping and general organisation.

Training Camps

At KAD we offer 2 training camps per year where we invite our athletes to take part in a range of individual and team based tasks.  These engaging tasks are specifically designed to increase each driver’s physical and mental skills required to perform at their very best.

Whether it’s hiking on Dartmoor, indoor climbing, flip out trampolining, gym sessions or cold water swimming, each of the physical activities will require resilience, motivation and a strong work ethic.

Each day will also include education components on the KAD core topics of physical training, nutrition, sleep and recovery, vision, mindset, and well-being and skill acquisition.

Combining both physical and mental elements makes the KAD training camps an immersive learning experience for all our athletes.

All KAD staff have full public liability insurance and a current clear DBS check.
